Imazho is a private photo home for people who want modern search and organization without handing readable originals to an advertising platform. The product is built around encrypted ownership, quiet organization, memories, and exportability.
problem
Photo libraries hold some of a person's most sensitive data. Useful AI features traditionally require surrendering that data, while privacy-first tools can make organization and retrieval feel like a compromise. The product needed a clear boundary between encrypted storage and optional analysis.
approach
I designed client-held encryption as the default and treated AI analysis as a separate, explicit consent path using lower-resolution copies that can be purged. The interface organizes the product around search, people, places, albums, maps, and resurfaced memories rather than technical security machinery.
outcome
The result is a product foundation with a coherent privacy model, a photo-first responsive interface, search and memory workflows, and a brand system designed to communicate security without fear-based language.
