overview
Qartazi monitors Kosovo media, recognizes when outlets describe the same event, separates facts from repetition, and publishes a neutral Albanian account only when the available evidence supports it. Every story exposes its sources and verification state.
problem
Fast news cycles reward copying and certainty. Counting articles as corroboration can amplify one weak claim across dozens of outlets, while unrestricted generative writing can hide uncertainty behind fluent prose. Verification needed to happen before publication and remain inspectable afterward.
approach
I built a staged pipeline for resilient ingestion, near-duplicate detection, semantic clustering, evidence-gated verification, deterministic score reconciliation, propaganda-pattern analysis, neutral writing, and rule-controlled social publishing. Low-value items stop early to control both cost and noise.
outcome
The system continuously turns fragmented coverage into source-linked story clusters with explicit confidence, visible uncertainty, rolling saga memory, administrative controls, and a safety boundary between evidence assessment and public prose.
